VISION VERTE offers exciting insights in today’s ideas and practices of city farming through an exhibition and an accompanying programme to learn more about the benefits of urban agriculture as regards sustainable urban development.

The VISION VERTE exhibition brings together results of the German-Moroccan research project on “Urban Agriculture as an Integrative Factor of Climate-Optimised Urban Development in Casablanca” and parts of the touring exhibition “Carrot City“ from Canada, already shown in Toronto and New York, with international examples how to transform the urban fabric for urban agriculture.

VISION VERTE offers Workshops, Film Screenings, Lectures and a Sale Faires to discover the potentials of urban agriculture for future city planning and food issues. With those examples of global practises and several international stakeholders giving talks about urban development, urban agriculture, climate change and governance, „VISION VERTE“ takes a step towards designing the urban future of Casablanca.

The VISION VERTE exhibition and programme provide an entrance to a networking platform to actively proceed with the forthcoming of a more sustainable development of megacities of tomorrow.
